Perhaps I should have used "snow" in place of "winter weather". It's 30F here and I'd be surprised if it was still below freezing here in 6 hours. The sleet/freezing rain vs. snow conversation is a mid-level conversation. Plain rain vs. freezing rain is a surface temperature conversation.
