PAPPG
I feel for those without power, it's usually us. Storm damage seems much worse south and east of here. Temps on the slow rise at the moment to: 34.4/32 WSW@
svh19044
This peco outage is more focused in an area as opposed to sandy which was even more widespread. I am one of very few with power in Horsham.
DiehardFF
Haz - I have power now. However, I suspect mine was caused by a either a branch or a transformer. Other people will not be so lucky and have a huge tree down etc.

Rib
I lost power around 3:30 am when a transformer exploded and lit up the entire sky. I am at my Sister's house who is in a harder hit region but for some reason got her power back today. The people across the street from where I live have power even though they had several transformer explosions. Everyone in the neighborhoods around mine has power. SP
Hang in there all impacted by the ice storm. After going through sandy I feel for those without power and heat. We learned many tricks during sandy to get the furnaces running and I am sure a lot of that is going on tonight. Be safe!
jimmosk
How do you find out when you will get power back? You can call PECO at 1-800-841-4141 for an estimate. Sometimes it's pretty accurate, but given the extent of this damage I wouldn't bet the farm on it being right...

soadforecaster
The way i did it was i logged onto my account with peco. then go to the middle of the page where it says outage info, then clicked on view status. then it should give you outage information for you there. Rib
I looked up my PECO status and it said they are unable to provide an estimated time they are going to restore my power. Half my township is without power but I think they aren't going to get to us until they help the harder hit areas.

MacChump
Here's hoping PECO shows up soon for my part of Glen Mills on the other side of Route 1!I've been wondering if we are on the same grid or whatever as the 4 garnet valley schools less than a mile from our house...I'm sure getting them powered up was a priority, so maybe we just lucked out?
