JJBASHB
Snowglobe fluff to end a long 12 hour shift. My car has another .1 coating after clearing it ~15 min ago. This stuff is efficient.

CoastalWx
It's a winter wonderland here. The snow was just wet enough towards the end to stick on everything and it didn't even melt off when it got to 33 for a few hours.

powderfreak
Nice parting shot of mood snows (maybe even a few steadier bursts) for eastern regions Awesome finger lake enhancement on that loop...pretty cool.
Clinch Leatherwood
Snowing harder right now than at any point that I saw during this entire storm. Nice enhancement on the bend.

mattb65
Storm total of 11.0" here, very impressive storm, and echo the others with the enjoyment of this parting shot of dendrites. Very pleasantly surprised to see it still snowing when I got off from my shift.

TheSnowman
GFS says Winter Shutdown. Awesome Cold and Awesome pattern in place but nothing produces over the next 2 weeks and then the pattern is gone, and warmth comes in. ONE of these chances Has to produce. Anything on the EURO for Monday? Been snowing non-stop here with the Mood Snows. Or as I call them, Moog Snows.
New Englander
Light Snow continues at nearly 2am. This has been a pretty good event. This and the arctic snows in early January are the best in my opinion. Love it when that mood snow just hangs around. 22.7 degrees on a very tranquil classic New England winter night. joey2002
I swear I'm not making this up..I heard my daughters talking in the other room to each other and one said to the other "this is 2-3 inches per hour." What have I created? That's classic!

HoarfrostHubb
I just keep going out and puttering, it's a fantastic night. This persistent light snow out here is sugary just like this morning. I love the way the sleet piled up on the edges. Lol on the way home I took the back roads, it's 33 miles from work to home, counted 24 downed mailboxes, not including mine.On the way to Wachusett we saw a Westminster plow totally destroy a box. wxsniss
Yeah it's coming down at a decent clip here. One of the better storms of the season for our area. There should be a bust metric... both for positive and negative. A measure of reality vs. expectations (forecast amounts, impact, quality of snow, etc). Just judging from posts, northern CT to Boston area to Ray busted positive nicely for this one. Messenger the opposite. Contrast that to 1/22/14 when you and Messenger both did nicely, Boston area north saw a dud. What was Boston / Logan's final? I saw 10.6 7pm but that didn't include the parting shot... Baroclinic Zone
10.0" total... 12" depth You got your snowpack fetish satiated? Ended up with 6" after last nights snows. I got about 7" OTG after compaction before the storm and during. Got about 1/2" of sleet too.
Cold Miser
Picked up an extra .5" last night making the total for this storm 8". I think that is the low end of the final BOX map prior to the storm starting. Not too bad of a call from NWS.
