CT Rain
What a fun storm. The snow has a totally blue look to it as well. Really odd... last time I saw that was after that giant cement bomb in southern VT in like March 2010. What causes the blue?

ROOSTA
One must refill gas-tanks every now and then. D'OH. Just waiting for the machine to cool some. It's deep snow out there. I guess there will always be the complainer who was modeled to get 14" but ended with a foot. It's still snowing and the radar seems to be blossoming to the SW. .71" in the bucket - tickled the freezing point briefly, no pings what-so-ever. LSC97wxnut
Incidentally did sleet make to Boston? I don't think it made it to BOS nor outside my window. It might have? It wasn't all snow in Brighton when I was shoveling around 1:00 or so.
SlantStickers Anonymous
SN- now, but there's been a lot of variation between this and bursts of big flakes and SN for a while. something like 11" and 31 degrees. How much do we think the evening snows produce? Pretty sweet system, perfectly timed morning commute crusher. Also noticed the bluish look when I was shoveling, I assumed it was from treatment chemicals along the road lol.
