Yeah it almost shut off completely for about a half hour.  I thought it changed to sleet, but definitely not, just the smallest flakes ever.

 

And just in the last 5 minutes the flake sized has increased and coming down heavily again.

Yeah, there is another batch moving in to the area.  I think that will be our last hurrah before we pelt.

It looks like there is a big warm pocket that is moving over me and tickling Kev, but back to more snow for a bit to the west until the next batch moves in?

Yes. That was my interpretation and experience, too.  However, we're back to mostly sleet now.  Resistance, as it turns out, is actually futile.
