jm1220
This reminds me of growing up in the 80s-90s. Bad time to be right around the coast. its a safe bet we go from a slushy inch straight to rain. It's about what I think will happen too. People as usual went too bullish before the inevitable warm/north trend right before these SWFE events. Every storm this winter has also trended north significantly at the end, usually to our benefit but tomorrow obviously not. Maybe we can keep snow for a couple of hours if it comes in heavy, but otherwise we have little to work with as the airmass here is quite marginal. I'm not as worried about a lot of freezing rain as I was before either, since the more easterly wind direction being predicted now will keep us maybe a couple of degrees warmer. But at least we won't lose much of the snow on the ground, as very cold rain will just get soaked into the existing snow and cause it to freeze solid when the cold air comes back. Our snowpack will likely hold 2" of water equivalent by the end of this.

IsentropicLift
The trees in my area still are completely covered in snow. If that verified this area's going to be in a world of trouble. Most of the snow at the tops of the Maples have melted here but a significant amount remains on branches near power line levels.
