Seriously? Can we go even 30 min into a storm.. ANY storm without making the turnpike a parking lot?

Description: Accident on Pennsylvania Turnpike I-76 east at mileposts 238 and 238, between East Exit 236 - US 15 (in Upper Allen Township) and East Exit 242 - I-83 (in Fairview Township) all lanes. Multi-vehicle accident with injuries, keep alert and watch for emergency crews in the area.

Well....I finally caught up on all the posts.  They're coming in fast and furious. 

 

Precip started as an IP/ZR mix and is still the combo.  Temp 26.1 / DP 21.9.  Very fine glaze forming on top of the snow on the ground.

 

I really hope my worries that I posted about earlier today don't come true, but I fear major damage to trees, especially evergreens.  I won't try to predict the powerline stuff!

sounds like multiple accidents now around mile marker 238 of turnpike... blocked in both directions...

 

I keep unplugging my cell phone but now is a good idea to remind everyone to make sure theirs are fully charged...

 

Thanks for reminding me!  Cellphone battery at 41%.  Should be able to fully charge long before any possible outage.  I really hope we don't lose power for any great length of time.
