baltimoreguy
This is a pretty amazing video that my neighbor shot as a transformer turned into something like pyrotechnics from a Kiss concert: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10203065607508250

Solo2
Looked like CNN coverage of the first gulf war this morning in FDK with all the transformers exploding at 5-8am. Pretty wild. Tons of trees down, but luckily the big melt is commencing.

Tons of trees down, but luckily the big melt is commencing. Slept through it. A few tree branches down in my neighborhood and it's an ice garden, but doesn't look like the Gulf War. Fozz
Brrr down to 65 in the house Ouch, sorry you lost power, hope it comes back very soon. 65 sucks but once it's below 60, it's an icebox. Few weeks ago in upstate NY, the house I stayed at had its heaters break down and the temp inside fell to near 50. I've never felt so miserable shivering in bed. thank goodness it happened during the thaw week and not on the frigid days.

mattie g
I keep my house at 65 My wife and I used to keep it at 66 during the day (when we were home) and turned it down to 60 at night and when we were out. Pup didn't mind a bit. Now that we have a little one, we keep it at 68 (72 for her first couple months).

Solo2
I hope my power is back on by the time I get home from work. Probably not, though. 21701 and 21702 are the bulk of the outages in FDK.

Mrs.J
Getting photos on my FB feed from friends who live in Downtown Frederick. So many of the city's big trees have been damaged by this storm. Baker Park is littered with large limbs as well as Downtown itself. So sad.
