KamuSnow
Mod rain here with a few wet snow flakes mixing in here in Media Delaware County 13 miles wsw of the Airport 35 changeover certainly tied to precip rates. Kevin, I don't know if you are in Media proper, but the town of Media is more like WNW, almost NW of KPHL...?
ChescoWx
Quickly turning to Snow with some sleet still mixed in surfaces have a coating of IP and now snow quickly picking up in intensity Temp down to 32.6 Wind NNE gusting to 7mph DP 31.
RU848789
Snow is underway here in Metuchen with a light coating on the ground already, as temps have dropped to 33F at the surface, allowing accumulations to occur. I seriously hope this helps people let go of the myth that snow will have a hard time accumulating after a warm day, as snow will accumulate, even at marginal temps, if the rate is high enough, plus the surface temp cools to freezing quite quickly with falling snow. Going to be a tough morning commute with 1-2" per hour rates through much of rush hour.

Kevin Reilly
If you are referring to all the pretty colors on radar west and north of Philly... that's bright banding. Not necessarily indicative of intensity. Oh I know that is sleet.... I was looking at the heavier echoes moving in down here from the southwest

bluehens
Heavy thunderous rain in northern DE. Schools just got cancelled but I think they end up looking bad doing it because we may be staring at a Rain/Snow line that never drops south of us all day long. noctilucent
Warrington, Bucks County, PA 32.1 degrees. Snow. Light north wind. I had been hearing raindrops on my roof until about 5:45 am, when I assume the changeover occurred (I stopped hearing raindrops!). I'd say about 1/4" has accumulated so far.
