Rib
SIX hrs into the snow and Im just shy of 8" here in three tuns pa (just "up the road" from ambler and "around the corner" from maple glen pa) Loving it! My Sister works in Maple Glenn and lives up in the border between counties. What's the situation up there? She's at work and I'm trying to tell her to go home. Rib
Glenn's future radar showed snow through 3-4pm. It's ending already? It seemed to show banding. Maybe the back edge will slow down. That radar at 2 looked pretty nice.
LVblizzard
Still puking snow in Allentown. Could we get to 10" today?
snowwors2
Been "hunkered down" (don't you hate that expression) all day but I can tell you that butler pike was a mess earlier down by ambler ( per kyw radio) and is an icy compact right now. No one is out...We may be pushing 9" before long! Good time to leave work before more crazies let out.
Rib
Still puking snow in Allentown. Could we get to 10" today? You may want to give the sky a suppository I'm about to go out and measure but I live in a forest so it will be difficult.

Fields27
Just measured 7.7. Radar indicates a slight lull in precip moving through Berks but the snow on the other side looks very healthy. Hoping to reach double digits as we haven't done that in quite some time. Sent from my HTC ONE

svh19044
8.4" on the snowboard! I don't know if or how much was lost to compaction. Currently 33.7* with light-mod snow falling at this moment.

Sophisticated Skeptic
Wouldn't be surprised if this turns into a borderline-Atlanta situation by rush hour. been checking out the traffic maps most of the day...and traffic has been slow to very slow for most of northern and central NJ. when traffic is this slow the whole time...with heavy snow most of the day...the cars compact the snow on the ground, instead of warming things up when traveling at faster speeds. slow traffic means the plows can't get in either. Winter Wizard
1:00 update: 3.5", though I'd guess it's actually closer to 4, due to compaction. Light-moderate snow falling at the moment. That 35-40 DBZ band in NCCo just barely missed me to the South. Hopefully I can verify WSW criteria in the next hour or two.
