mgerb Posted February 3, 2014 Share Posted February 3, 2014 I measured 5.3" around 45 mins ago. The crazy thing is when I measured at 8 AM (2.2"), there was 0.48" liquid in my gauge. I also did a core and came up with 0.38", a bit less presumably because of some melting off the board at the start. That's a very low ratio. This is gonna be a bear to shovel.... For yucks, I went and measured near it on the grass (where the snow had melted off yesterday) and most of those came up 7". So if you are not using a board here, the total is inflated by about an inch. YMMV. With no drifting, a picnic table that isn't right next to the house or near trees would probably be a good measuring spot today. This is a lot easier to measure accurately than the earlier snowfalls.
