clskinsfan
Those of you that have shovel duty be careful. My 3.8 inches has compacted down to around 2.5 inches. It is the heaviest snow I can remember shoveling. A shovel full of this stuff has to weigh 60 pounds. I dont know what the water content of this snow is. But it is very high. BTRWx
Sun showing through the clouds, but it is still snowing. 35 degrees. Wow, small temperature gradients now. I am at 36 with similar conditions, though probably a lot less falling.
Amped
Well Looks like Frederick got around 2. Good thing i am stuck in quakertown pa after the superbowl where we have about 7. Cold air really never made it to the lower elevations south of the md line. Philly seems to be the hotspot this year.

That was what March 2013 was like....lots of whining about the lack of accums across much of the area, but shoveling 4 inches of slush really sucked. nw baltimore wx
Still nice light snow here in Pikesville. The past 2 hours of snow has made me a little less grumpy. Probably have at least .5" probably have more at home. Bare ground here under light slop. I'll go with a half inch at home unless you say otherwise. Definitely a half inch on grassy surfaces. By the time you get home with all the compacting and wetness it will probably be .001 .

By the time you get home with all the compacting and wetness it will probably be .001 . Well, they've cancelled after school activities so I'll be home early. Hopefully, at least half the salt that was on the roads is gone. Tracking it into the car and house is getting old.
