Was sitting at 52 most of the afternoon. Sun popped out and jumped to 56.4F just before 3pm. Feels springlike out there. Ground is still frozen solid below the top 1/4" of soil. I'd guess the "snowpack" is about 50%. Waiting for the temps to drop here in Clarksburg...

I'm a little confused by LWX forecast/advisory. I read the discussion and am aware of the bust potential. With that said my forecast is for 2 - 7".... over the duration... isn't the 7" warning criteria ? (I'm not being a weenie) I'm just wondering if they are being flexible with the warning criteria.

I think DCA might get wire to wire rain, seriously. I think 3 inches is the upper limit for most outside the far NW areas.

I'm not fully out but I'm not too optimistic.  Very likely no road accum of any value.. not like it matters.
