BaltimoreWxGuy
your still north of I-70, this front is taking its time to move south The boundary front is actually down in Southern VA..the problem is theres not enough of a significant cold source to pump this cold air down so its real slow to work in

dukeblue219
Temperature ticked up from 39 to 40 in Silver Spring with light rain. At least we all knew this was the likely result for several days. Doesn't have that "bust" feeling. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

ORH_wxman
You can see the rain/snow line very well on dual pol radar...a little wishy-washy up in N MD but more distinct in W and NW spots: Comparison from two hours earlier: A bit more defined in N MD now. BlizzardNole
I like getting all these ground truth obs right at the R/S line -- they indicate that the precip mode on my RadarScope app is pretty darn accurate. (Thanks to the posters that pointed that app out to some of us). Steady rain and 38 -- I don't expect any snow at all, except for maybe a few flakes as the precip is ending. Sometimes being up here helps, but not this time.
