buckeye
At 48 hrs.... 6z RGEM = 1008mb over CVG 6z NAM = 1012mb over SDF 6z GFS = 1012mb between Nashville and Knoxville in TN 6z rgem went nw.... 6z nam ticked nw... not good for us in the se flanks... hopefully we can seal this deal either way with the 12z runs.... wishful thinking though. blizzardof96
6z NAM COBB spits out 0.31" of QPF at YYZ with 5.8" of snow on an average ratio of 19:1. Something to watch out for as we ride the northern fringe of this system.
A-L-E-K
Could tell early on across the central plains with slightly more ridging too. 4-5" around here toss it.
WestCoaster
00Z GFS was pretty nice for YYZ, dropped 4-5", but cut back to 3-4" on the 06Z run. I think that is a bit more realistic. If this thing trends north then we could be looking at 5-6" at most.
Stebo
3-5" is probably a good range for Metro Detroit right now.
A-L-E-K
12z RAP initialized the s/w a it stronger/phased than the 6z GFS was showing at 12z but nothing crazy.
Powerball
12z RAP initialized the s/w a it stronger/phased than the 6z GFS was showing at 12z but nothing crazy. On the flip side, 12z NAM initialized a bit too weak with the shortwave.
A-L-E-K
On the flip side, 12z NAM initialized a bit too weak with the shortwave. Looks like it will still end up on the far NW side of guidance.
A-L-E-K
you can already tell this will be one of those storms where I'm pulling for 18hr RAP solutions that are way too far north and trend south each run.
nwohweather
Man another 10" would bring us just 9" away from the '78 all time record. If I'm going to be hunkered in all winter I might as well see that come down
A-L-E-K
SREF plumes on the decrease at ORD, down to just over 5"
A-L-E-K
NAM also much drier on the northern fringe like the globals

Geos
1-3" in my grid currently. Seems like the reasonable way to go. 12z NAM. LAF, TOL, ftw!

TimChgo9
Dropping my call to 1"-2" at the absolute most, unless something drastic happens between now and tomorrow. TV mets still talking about 4" to as much as 6" in some parts of the area, at this moment, doesn't look like it will verify.
KeenerWx
First call of 2-5" looking good. LAF is going to take this one straight to the bank.
Chicago WX
4km NAM. NAM certainly showing the banding potential. Most likely too aggressive with those numbers. But, not much wiggle room.

Hoosier
Nice weenie band over LAF on the NAM. Nice run to run consistency on showing an enhanced band and a majority of SREF members continue to support it.
