calculus1
Well, that wedge is slowly scouring out, I think it will be gone soon for those of us more north and west. Here's the current satellite imagery:

I wish the warmth would stop teasing us like that; we get one day at a time and then it disappears for a week. Almost asked the boss what the job charge is for "it's too nice a day to be inside". mackerel_sky
It's very odd that with this snowpack, the temps are not crashing!? Widre said he's seen it before, but I don't remember perfectly clear sky and snowcover and the temp stalled and even rose a degree the last hour. 33.1 currently

jburns
Any chance of snow removed from late tonight. Roads are water covered in many spots but not even a black ice statement. Temps are gong to remain above freezing. This is a pretty amazing turn around in temps considering the snow cover. Of course that will be gone tomorrow afternoon, and then spring temps start knocking on the door. Starting Tues., 62, 67, 69, 69.
superjames1992
I remember a storm (not in NC) where we got 6" of snow one evening at 33-34 degrees, but temperatures climbed throughout the night. It was 40 and clear by dawn and we went to school with a two-hour delay. That sucked as a kid!

Solak
Got some pretty heavy rain coming down now...looks like we might end up with a half inch or so. Getting a little concerned about later today if we get the winds/gusts that are predicted, given how saturated the ground is from this weeks' events. Iceagewhereartthou
Per radar, exactly what we were talking about last night is happening tonight. Snow coming SE from NC mtns all the way to SC state line. Then dries out due to down sloping only to reform around Rock Hill, Charlotte area. This happening again as I type.
