Baroclinic Zone
Wow, I'm just driving by exit 9 on 495 and there isn't a flake in the sky At the BJ's? Nothing here in Wrentham either. Cloud deck is lowering though.
Baroclinic Zone
There is a nice band running from about Wareham back thru Freetown, Fall River, Providence. That's the one that just hit Steve's area.

That's the one that just hit Steve's area. Yeah we've taken the dive to 32 with moderate snow probably bordering on heavy (but not) Everything covering over. Banding is robbing moisture right now north of it over LI. Will have to see how this plays out.

Clinch Leatherwood
New NAM definitely backed off some and I think that's reasonable. Best banding is hugging the coast. My only ? is will I get in on it just north of the "max" QPF as has been the case with several systems already.

Damage In Tolland
a little more reasonable, but still not sure those amounts fall. Well the biggest questionmark is still from the pike north..But that's always been true with this one
Wonkis
Heavy wet snow in that northern band. Visibility was poor on the morning commute - could see just a couple of cars ahead. Right now it's mostly accumulating on grassy surfaces - starting to accumulate on side streets.

Clinch Leatherwood
This stuff moving in from my WSW looks really intense. Otherwise I'm not terrible impressed with the radar on the northern edge.
Clinch Leatherwood
11z runs of HRRR and RAP - pretty impressive... 2-3 hrrr.png 2-3 rap.png 13z is even more impressive. But we will see what pops in 2-3 hours when it really has a lot of us pounding. Snow better stop by about 1115, or I am going to smash those snow totals from the Box graphic. N. OF PIKE
Well the biggest questionmark is still from the pike north..But that's always been true with this oneDisagree Biggest question mark wrt sig. Totals to me is the area from s-c ct up to HFD and east that correlates to basically cold miser area up to ma/ct/ri border (where they meet) on over to say Taunton north to Brockton. South of that area looks like warning snows I dont think north side of the pike has much of a shot . Maybe right along it.
Ginx snewx
Best part is major highways look good so far, side roads are covered here though. Lt snow now. 1/2 new

Your area up north is. The s coast through PYM is going to do really well I think. To be clear, I'm not saying toss the heavier QPF models...I just don't know if they are too aggressive. leesun
Really need to get better radar coverage in CT. It is the dead zone out here. Snow is much heavier right now than radar would indicate
