Mallow
Just went out and cleaned off my car. Looked to be between 2 and 3 inches of heavy, wet snow on top. Also of note, I was surprised to see quite a few dendrites mixed in with the needles.

Eskimo Joe
If you are talking about DC again, we don't care. No here. Outside of a few deep valleys in Laurels, how the heck do you expect to get a good ice storm with 30 degree air temperatures?
CarlislePaWx
Well....definitely winding down quickly here. Accumulating snow has ended and just have very light snow now. Skies have brightened up considerably and the temp has ticked up a tiny bit to 32.5. If we get any sunshine a bit later it will definitely begin the melting process. I couldn't break my record. But, I tied it at 4.2" total. Interesting that it was Jan 2/3 for the previous 4.2" and it is Feb 2/3 for this one. Still holding out hope for less freezing rain and more sleet or snow? It doesn't look like the op GFS brings the 850 zero line much above MDT. Looked like 12 nam had me and zak at -1 850 at 4am Wed morning. Never a dull moment it seems this winter. I-83 BLIZZARD
Went from moderate to heavy snow again, Ripping fine flakes I think we might go glacial down here with freezing rain on top of this snow pack, then a HECS. 32.0 degrees on the money. MAG5035
Just a little under 3" of concrete, I'd call it a pretty successful event here
NortheastPAWx
Coming down good right now.
EasternUSWX
No here. Outside of a few deep valleys in Laurels, how the heck do you expect to get a good ice storm with 30 degree air temperatures? It happens plenty of times. I had bad ice storms at 31. Most comes in night time and early morning so less solar radiation. Also models have it around 28 here. You call every storm a bust..lol.
daxx
I have very heavy snow right now. I measured 7.2" so far on the ground.

PennMan
Coming down good right now. Yeah. Better storm than I was expecting. A nice appetizer for tomorrow/Wednesday. Around 3" on the ground...will have to go out an measure once things taper off. Nice flakes with these final bands.

Mallow
Not that it's worth anything (maybe even less than the NAM/SREFs?), but the NOGAPS gives most of PA a nice dumping of snow Wednesday: http://www.meteo.psu.edu/~fxg1/NOGAPS_12z/nogapsloop.html

Itstrainingtime
Few things are more exciting than an early Feb rainstorm that may begin as a couple hours of freezing drizzle that could possibly accrete on windshields and tree limbs. ALL IN. You used to work with Eric Horst, right? He is calling the ice potential tomorrow night "scary." That is his word...I'm sticking with him. MillvilleWx
Huge flakes here at Millersville. I'm hearing 7" at school according to a measurement by a friend just off campus.

PennMan
Two pictures from my mom, just north of Myerstown, PA in Lebanon County. Around 7" and still snowing nicely. Those white pines in the back might not fare so well tomorrow night and Wednesday.
Superstorm
About 7.5" here in Lancaster.
paxpatriot
I'll get an official measurement once the baby wakes from her nap, but my guess would be 5-6 inches here. Can't help but think how huge this would have been with cold temps from the start. GFS ensembles with some good hits for the weekend, no? Really looking forward to hearing the mets discuss that possible event.
skiier04
Looks like final band about to roll through Centre County. Should squeeze out another 1-2 hours of light/mod snow which should put us over 3" for the event!! Awesome storm to start snow week 2014!!!
