canderson
Just went out to measure, and we have 4.25" as of 11:15AM. We've had mostly moderate snow all morning. Roads are horrible, as would be expected though. I'm guessing we just might get close to 6 inches by the time this is done.Come Sunday, you might have 24" in the past week. Enjoy! NortheastPAWx
I don't know what the SREFs are seeing at this point for up here...seems the ice threat is dead and models are converging on a majority snow event.
MillvilleWx
Effed. The worst part about this is the models are coming in colder and may under perform on CAD due to the snow already on the ground. I don't see frza becoming too much of an issue north because of cold trend, but further south gets the screw zone with ice on top of this already ridiculous snow. I hope for your sake it turns out to be mostly sleet. I may not get so lucky further east.
Eskimo Joe
Few things are more exciting than an early Feb rainstorm that may begin as a couple hours of freezing drizzle that could possibly accrete on windshields and tree limbs. ALL IN.

Check the 12z NAM solution for the storm vs GFS, Canadian, and 00z ECWMF then remember that famous quote about SREFs being baby NAMs and you can see why they might favor more mixed precip or zr.
