Heisy
Is this our wettest winter storm in 3 years? Whats funny is that here in Philly we might get more QPF than the recent storm that dropped a foot of snow here, but we might only get 4-5" because of ratios. I hope you guys get a superband that keeps the column cold and someone gets a surprise.

NorthArlington101
Just messing around, Im no map maker as you can see, but Ill go with something like this Capturemdatlmap.JPG Shouldn't DC be 1-3? Or is the 1-2 3-5 gap intentional? Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
Bob Chill
Rgem is good with ns stuff. I don't have much of an opinion for moist southern storms. It was pretty darn good with 1/21 so there's that. It seems to wanna go bonkers with this storm so it gives me some pause.
Avdave
Shouldn't DC be 1-3? Or is the 1-2 3-5 gap intentional? Sent from my iPod touch It was made just for fun. Im no meteorologist, thats for sure. But it is in the ballpark
Ji
Just messing around, Im no map maker as you can see, but Ill go with something like this Capturemdatlmap.JPG I could love with that...I went 3-6 for us
dallen7908
When I moved to the area, I headed to Oakland, MD to go skiing. The forecast was 3-6 " for Allegheny County and 12-18" for Garette. I assumed the discontinuity was an error. It wasn't and it verified. Snow started accumulating just west of Frederick. Why are the 850 temperatures so high? Is the 850 low going north of us? I guess it shows you have to worry about 850 first. Still hoping even east of the fall line.
paxpatriot
Well, RGEM has been fantastic this year, hopefully that continues here. I mentioned this earlier. smokeybandit
I hate when the TV stations put a Winter Storm watch map throughout the entire broadcast. Is it really that necessary?

NorthArlington101
Any chance this just ends up being a hell of a nice storm? I don't see why we jump from snow to rain, not snow to freezing rain to rain. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
