By the way, much respect to the Syracuse fans: they applauded the Duke players as they were walking out the tunnel. Sincerely, too. Duke, unfortunately, got a taste of their own medicine tonight. Check out the numbers on total free throws attempted by each team and total fouls. Duke had no bigs remaining in the final minutes and still fought to the last second. Unbelievable game, but two phantom calls to foul out Jefferson and Parker thanks to 2 Oscar-caliber performances from Christmas and the atrocious missed call on the Hood dunk ruined it for me. Very frustrating. Great performance from Syracuse, fouling out our starting 2 bigs made offense for Syracuse easy down the stretch. Not a big deal though, in my opinion, we are the better team when we have everyone on the court, and I think we proved that tonight. DBR/Well said The missed foul call on the attempted monster jam from Hood was quite bad, I'll agree. However, it doesn't ruin the whole game for me. But that was nothing more than a scrimmage, right? An exhibition of sorts? It was nothing more than a glorified blue/white game: UNC was guaranteed to win no matter what and the other team just happened to be wearing red.
