tcutter
Look, the snow distribution portion is one thing but nothing comes close to that storm. I have been waiting since 1993 to see a repeat and nothing has come close. Come find me when the Arctic and Tropics are as one along the East Coast of the USA with 3 streams phased... That would be great to see that again someday!
baldereagle
The models could be misleading??? Oh My! They'll sort it out by 00Z on Wednesday...maybe.
North Balti Zen
So ... Bwi and dca are not getting 40 inches of snow, but those kind of snow model outputs always make me giggle. Just fun to look at.
WxUSAF
So ... Bwi and dca are not getting 40 inches of snow, but those kind of snow model outputs always make me giggle. Just fun to look at. All those type of outputs (cobb, BUFKIT) seem to think DC and Baltimore are basically like the Tug Hill.
North Balti Zen
No doubt. Still, just silly fun to see it spit that out.
dailylurker
All kinds of crazy maps are flying around on facebook. Just saw one that had my area (AA county) in the 20"-30" range. Being a weenie, I did save it and will hug it. I'm new here and haven't figured out how to post maps yet. Probably better that way lol.

gymengineer
I def don't like it hanging out there so stubbornly myself. Well, it jumped towards the other models between 0Z run last night and the 6Z run today. It's just that it hasn't continued to get better and better today. Bob Chill
I def don't like it hanging out there so stubbornly myself. I don't either. The problem is easy to identify. Either all other guidance is too amped and the gfs is missing something or the gfs is keying better with the phasing over the ms valley. Im pretty sure it joins the party in some fashion at 0z. If not I'll be more nervous.
