ravensrule
I am not sure what will happen to Ji if we truly get fringed on this one. He will move on to Sunday and be fine. It is all part of his schtick.
ravensrule
you can keep your yard stick to yourself. Ok fine then i hope you get fringed. At least you will have Sparky to help you sweep you're few inches.
stormtracker
percent chance of getting SQL'ed during the GFS?...50-50? Held up pretty good during the NAM. Surprised.

Ian
I'd like to ban model prognostication. Even when done right it's often useless.

Ian
It does make the model run more exciting though. Yeah, perhaps. I'm not going to do anything.. I've generally moved past that stage of my weenie life so could be that. You just end up with like a page of "the NAM looks better" "yeah the NAM looks better" "i think the NAM is going to do it" "yeah we're gonna get nam'd"
terpsnation
Would really be nice to have the GFS take a big step in the NAM/Euro direction this run so I can don all of my weenie gear.

KAOS
Almost every storm like this has a sharp cutoff but often not quite as sharp as it looks on models. I know....and I think the same thing every time. Though we are fortunate it's something to even think about considering how things have been going lately. The mixing thing is another concern. This has sleet job written all over it as well. Too far west = screwed ....Too far east = screwed. Oh the joys of living in the MA. Also not so crazy about seeing how this is being depicted this far out. I sense disappointment in the future for sure. Having said that, I'm not trying to be a downer and remain optimistic. DUSTINMFOX
Sorry for the banter, but it seems the models you guys are play-by-playing are always 6-10 hours in front of what I'm looking at on weather.gov. Any free site to recommend that's quicker?

KAOS
We just broke the record for most people ever online. What a bunch of sickos we are. That explains the SQL error I just got. The server will melt by Wed. BTW...I think I may have an old TRS-80 laying around. You guys can have it if you want to upgrade.
clueless
Zwyts makes a good point about the GFS and Miller A's. So. If you don't like the run, wherever you are, keep that in mind. Now casting is not too far way. Postmortem of model verification on this one should be interesting.

Good thing last Friday was literally my best day ever as a scientist because little progress will happen this week between KUmaggedon and my son's b-day.
