Eh don't feel too bad for us. While I like winter and enjoy snow even my girls want a break. Currently sitting on making up 2 extra snow days past our allotment. :)

I'm mainly trolling Leestownburg and the Winchester folk.  We all know what will happen and they will still get theirs.

I honestly hope you get fringed. I'm due for a deathbanding.

Yea, me too. It's only been about 4 years and stuff. Jan 11 was good and all but we kinda sucked with early rain and temps. Plus I had a 103 fever and the flu. And lost power for 2 days and my house got down into the 40's while I shivered violently and had fever hallucinations. Not a lot of good memories there.

DT last night: "YES I SEE 0Z GFS ... its all SNOW for RICHMOND and a very big snow and i 100% reject it totally "

DT today: "

** ALERT *** ALERT ** HOLY mackel ALERT

The new 12z MONDAY NAM Model Just came in and it takes the Low further to the EAST .... by 50 miles . This place all of Richmond and Central Virginiain the extreme heavy snow ...area of the storm. This is what the Canadian model has been showing over the last three runs.

*****A difference of 50 miles changes the snow Amounts over Richmond Richmond significantly .... from around 6" or 8" of snow that goes over to rain .... to something like 20 inches or more of snow.
SEE FIRST IMAGE

In addition areas from Richmond all way to Charlottesville Lynchburg would see a huge snowstorm as well possibly placing the top five snowstorms of all time according to this particular model.
This is not my forecast this is a model run but it is a significant shift. Expect all the TV stations at noon to reflect the shift in their forecast and to upgrade the threat of the snowstorm for the Richmond metro area"

I've never been interested in being the jackpot on any storm like many on here are. I just like being in the game...if leesburg gets 6-10" and DC gets 12+" that won't bother me but it will some.

I fully expect you to do better than me. It happens.. all the time.  But I'd take 4-8" and a lot of sleet if necessary.

That is one nasty cutoff. Someone is probably going to get screwed..... perhaps all of us?

Almost every storm like this has a sharp cutoff but often not quite as sharp as it looks on models.
