Probably in some cases. He used to rip me apart on the regular when I was young on usenet etc. I think most of us just came to terms with the fact that he's kind of crazy but he's a pretty good speaker and one of the better pattern recognition guys out there IMO, though not at that level for specific storm forecasting. He certainly rubs some folks the wrong way, but there are also some that really know how to fire him up and seem to do it whenever possible.
