Big storms sure, but I'm guessing you guys average a bit of snow in April.

The area saw a decent amount of synoptic snow April 23-24, 2005 so anything is still possible well into April (I can look at some point but I think TOL got over 6" from that)...although it does get much harder once you get past about mid-March.

It won't last long, but parachutes falling from the sky here right now. Goes well with morning coffee. :D

Up early for the trip to IKK? Have a safe one. Snowing pretty good here. Looks like I may have picked up another 1.5 or so overnight. I will go measure at 7.

Yep...and thanks.

Looks like you guys did well overnight, and still going. It's been on and off here since I got up this morning, with that one period of rippage.

Regarding the Toledo discussion above...winters back is broken once you pass mid-March, but Toledo is in the game for snowstorms thru mid-April, fwiw.

After yesterdays 1.0" of snow, this next round is definitely overperforming. Had 1.4" new overnight as of just before 8am, so we should easily end up with 2" or better from this round which translate to 3" or better for Feb 8/9. The beat goes on in this historic winter...and the wind-free, calm snow resting on the deep snowpack is gorgeous wub.png

Quality. Slept through it. Picked up about 0.4" here... total 1.8" this weekend.

Friend on Facebook said he wasn't sure if it was still snowing or snowing again.  He said there is just so much snow he couldn't keep track.

We picked up 2.1" of snow today after the 1" yesterday so the total for the mini wave train of yesterday and today was 3.1" imby, which puts me at 71.6". DTW had 2.9", which puts them at 70.8", ALREADY the 5th snowiest winter on record and its February 9th! I suspect some areas near Toledo and Monroe had 4"+ with this latest batch of powder. The landscape outside is just AMAZING right now.

2nd place appears to be a lock for DTW.

It is just beautiful outside.  Unless something crazy happens we Toledo should hit #1 and Detroit #2.  Still a ways to go to get #1 at DTW.
