Rain and more rain. Have a small lake in my backyard now.

Sent from my SCH-I535

Still no switchover? Has to be coming soon.

But on the bright side, pond hockey in your backyard tomorrow.

Just a few mood flakes here now, after a dusting earlier. Models that had it snowing until 3-4am were el busto.

Looks like the precip is trying to creep back north.

It's an absolute disaster outside here.  Sidewalks already slippery.

Just drove through absolute rippage in northern Boone and southern Clinton counties. I'd estimate 2-3"/hr rates with 3" of new snow on the ground. Of course when I got back to Lafayette I had a DAB.

Wow. We got fooked.

Radar is perking up quite nicely to the west right now, so maybe some love shown LAF's way soon.

Hopefully. I'm sick of this slush and almost slipping and falling and dying every time I go outside.

The ice/slush never goes away fully, even when we have these short term warm ups. Of course, if we throw another inch or so of snow on top of it, you won't be able to see it.

Snow winding down. Looks like a general 4-6" fell in Toronto today, except maybe more like 2-3" right along the lake.

With no rain expect parts of downtown mixing in for like an hour or so.

SFC temps and thermals stayed cold enough for all snow. Looks like we worked in some CAD as I suspected 2 days ago.

CAD occurs on NE winds when there's a strong sfc high in QC funneling low level cold air towards us, which then gets dammed against the Escarpment. There was none of that today. In fact, temps were much warmer than most guidance showed. We pulled this whole thing out by the skin of our teeth. 1/2 a degree warmer and we're in the complaint thread right now.
