Yeah usually these back-end snows don't work out...but in this case there isnt a decent surface wave...so I'm guessing models are picking up on another weak strung out vort max that helps re-invigorate the frontal scae circulation. Nothing too terribly heavy...thankfully. The snow actually is holding up well. About 0.5" of snow fell since I shoveled and it's still hanging on, but barely.
