Managed another 0.1". Currently has granular snow falling. Must be milder air trying to intrude into the column.

Same stuff falling here. We have been spoiled overall but lame-o lame-o even up here.

Good atmosphere and weekend for GHog festivities anyway. Place should be kickin at 7 a.m. tomorrow.

Latest RAP has us getting a few inches of snow later.  Changeover looks like a virtual done deal and will probably get some accumulation but exact amounts are tough.

12z GFS and RGEM have around 2" for us. But I'm not seeing where we'll have any moisture left, when it gets cold enough.

Yeah usually these back-end snows don't work out...but in this case there isnt a decent surface wave...so I'm guessing models are picking up on another weak strung out vort max that helps re-invigorate the frontal scae circulation. Still low confidence but would not rule out.

Says 34 at DET and DTW now, my thermometer is still at 31.6 and it must be at least close because the snow hasnt started melting off of the trees quite yet. The end is near however.

I'm not sure about your location, but I'm still getting some occasional fatties with my rain.

It's one thing to smell the rain while it's snowing, but I didn't want to be smelling the snow while it's raining. :arrowhead:

That's a nice scene!

Looks like a battle is raging in SE MI.

Havent seen a fattie in a while, mostly just drops of rain. Nothing too terribly heavy...thankfully.

The snow actually is holding up well. About 0.5" of snow fell since I shoveled and it's still hanging on, but barely.
