JSantanaNYC
Well last night euro had .7+ for parts of nnj and nyc. And now ... .4 .. maybe the nam and gfs will be right.

jm1220
Wow, Great thanks! I think out of the three upcoming storms, this is the coast's best shot at real snow (more than a few inches). But we have to hope that future model runs increase the amplitude of the incoming trough-a flat wave might just fly out to sea and be a whiff. PB GFI
Well last night euro had .7+ for parts of nnj and nyc. And now ... .4 .. maybe the nam and gfs will be right. The nam and gfs lose the SW thru Texas and rush it east. They prob rally to the euro there's .4 to .5 around the city and south .
SnoSki14
I feel like we're reverting to the pattern we had in December, except that it's a colder version of that pattern. We see an emergence of the more +NAO/AO, the EPO/WPO is still negative, and the PNA will be negative. These little disturbances are what helped us get our snow in December, but the temperature gradient is even sharper now so we could see more QPF with these waves/disturbances. PB GFI
Precip shield and center at 18z at 66 hrs are 100 miles north than at 72 he's at 12z. 1st step in the nam moving N The SREF Canadian and Euro have this. I expect the nam and gfs to join soon enough
donsutherland1
Nam looks better than 12z run to me. It is a step toward the Euro. It brings the 0.10" line into southern New Jersey. On the 12z run, the 0.10" line was just south of Delaware.
