There's some very intense 700mb VVEL's with a stout/juiced SW flow on the NAM...

 

This looks hawt from a dynamic standpoint.

The lift/omega looks great for us. I look at that before I look at QPF-that usually catches up to the upper level panels later. This is going to be a great system for us I think. Maybe in snywx-land not as much but we should all be happy by tomorrow night. :)

HUDSON VALLEY...SOUTHWESTERN CONNECTICUT AND WESTERN LONG ISLAND.

* HAZARD TYPES...WET SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 3 TO 5 INCHES...WITH

LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

* WINDS...NORTH 5 TO 10 MPH TONIGHT...10 TO 15 MPH ON MONDAY.

* TEMPERATURES...FALLING INTO THE MID 30S TONIGHT AND LOWER 30S

EARLY MONDAY MORNING.

* VISIBILITIES...A HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES MONDAY MORNING INTO
