ravensrule
Nice. I will take that as a positive sign for the Euro and call it a night. Back up to glare at the 6z GFS in six hours. It has been pretty good this winter, unless the Euro goes bad im in.

stormtracker
Given that Wes says the GFS likes to suppress these types of systems, I'm not going to worry too much about the GFS....but we need it to at least start catching on or trending in the right direction pretty soon. yoda
UKIE at 72 looks really nice QPF wise... 850 wise looks okay (0c line is crossing through us)
Ji
Gfs gave me. 60 QPF the morning of the jan 21 snowstorm when all other models gave me .10. That was 1 hour before storm started. Model is in slump

yoda
So far, looks like 12z EURO/00z GGEM have us good for 2-4... NAM a 84 would be a big hit (but we know it sucks) and the same thing probably for the SREFs at 87 And the GFS blows and have nothing...

Not that it matters much at this point since 0z will be running soon, but pretty sure EURO QPF on the 12z was around .6-.7", so verbatim it's more than 2-4." yoda
say what? with .7" QPF?...what ratio is that? I was just going with 2-4 as a low end thing... to sort of temper our expectations in a sense. I know the 12z EURO/00z NAM would be like 6"+

yoda
I know. I was correcting Yoda on the12z Euro. I knew what the run showed I was just using 2-4 as a base to show that all the models besides the GFS and CRAS show at least that much in potential snow accumiations for us late Sunday night into Monday morning
