weathafella
I wonder about schools? I woke up 25 minutes ago and nothing, I just peeked out as I was starting this post and moderate snow already quickly accumulating.

moneypitmike
We got all 3 of ours last night Them there was alcohol involved LOL. We got two this morning--what the heck. Nothing too spectacular here compared to what's being reported elsewhere. Hopefully that'll change. Getting better flakes would help a lot. 21.7/
Clinch Leatherwood
Meh here my 3-4 will work fine. These always are over forecast down this way. Radar looks like Denver's defense...lots of holes (down here)

Radar looks like Denver's defense...lots of holes (down here) I'm surprised... would've guess you're already knocking on 2-3" based on upstream reports and radar

Zeus
Snowing marvelously here in Brookline. Haven't taken a measurement but judging by my fire escape... we've got to be up and over 5" already, easily. Might actually make bank on this one... we'll see what the warm push and dry slot do later.
Clinch Leatherwood
I'm surprised... would've guess you're already knocking on 2-3" based on upstream reports and radar 2-3" total and it's raining. Box busted down here again, with a warning this time for under 4" and no advisory the other day for over 4" tough week! These never really work out here, always take the under. icebreaker5221
Yeah usually models don't have the resolution to handle those sharp cutoffs..but I see what you mean. The GFS argues some good frontogenesis and mid level deformation pretty far north, but agree that there will be a sharp northern cutoff. To enthusiasts. note the WNW winds near CYUL and WSW winds down by southern VT. Looks like that trailing frontogenesis / deformation verified nicely, lingering well behind the main event.
