It is the NAM, but the 0z run was much colder at 78hr vs 84hr at 18z.  The 925's went from 0C at KBOS to -6C.  Maybe a sign of things to come on the rest of the 0z suite.

Great gfs run. I stay AOB freezing at 2m for all of the qpf. Mst of it snow actually.

 

A lot of SNE (esp. N of Pike)  gets a nice warning event on that run.  Too bad we're still 5 days out.

Not what i want to see, GFS held back the energy coming out of the deep southwest and was weaker this run

Still a pretty good thump at 00z. 40 knots upglide on the 290 K surface, parcels rising from 975 mb east of ACY to around 750 mb over our latitude. I'll take that.

Move about 30 minutes west and a bit north. We were out 12 days and our neighbors up the hill were out longer in 1988.

for the spfd area the first one was good but certainly not extraordinary with around 8 inches and the second was meh for sure with around three inches and in between there was two to three inches of upper level fluff here however the cool thing was that it snowed for almost four days straight and sunday afternoon there was generally a solid foot of snow otg here , your area was likely similar.....then after that very snowy start it was boring for awhile
