It's not in a true sense. Not with screaming SW flow like that. It sort of redevelops like one, but it's not a true Miller B.

What do you mean? We discussed this the other day..It is a Miller B..Anything that secondaries off the coast is a Miller B. How is that tolling? This is not a true swfe flow event..hence the higher totals for the region and farther south jackpots than one might think

It's pretty much a SWFE. Don't be jaded by the low track. It's a north of Pike to Dendrite special for the most part.

 

Maybe a couple of inches less south.

Do we really need to go through this again?  Just agree that this event is a bit of a hybrid.  The fact that it's spawned off the apps piece gives it a MB definition.  However, for practical and forecasting purposes, he sensible outcome, both in precip, SW flow, projected movement is consistent SWFE..

Really still like Dendrite down to either RT 2 or ORH for final totals... that mid level axis that hangs back is going to pile it up, especially with much better snow growth in that area.  The combo of the WAA and the deformation.

I've noticed a couple times this year on your offices' maps the 8-10 and 10-14 inch colors look the same on my computer but I can easily tell the difference on my phone. Not sure if my monitor is just funky with those colors or what. At any rate looks like we got bumped up a wee bit from 9.9(8-10") to 10.3 (10-14") contour.

I did ask Harv L last night on twitter if he thought the weekend storm would be a Miller A or B. He was unsure but said Weds would be a B and he worked for Dr Miller back in the day
