Obs for (mainly) coastal/southern snow Tuesday night 1/28-29/2014

I have noticed this is a different kind of snow than the previous storms which I assume is due to the colder temperatures. It is much more 'sparkly'. It is quite pretty out there!

It's become steady, although light, here also, starting to coat the driveway etc. Little breezy once in a while too. Nice!

Thus far Mt Holly's forecast has been good. I wouldn't be surprised to see advisories added a row of counties east though and perhaps Atlantic getting upgraded to WSW.

NWS is the best but they had me at "none" on the forecast. 3 hours of light snow and 1/2" with coated roads doesn't qualify as none.

Based on radar returns you guys look like you should have more. Anyway, 1.3" so far. This exceeds my last year's seasonal total of 38.2" by .1" with a lot of winter to go.

Close to 7 inches here in central Atlantic county. Over-performer +++. Winter score: A++ and its not even Feb. Amazing!
