mitchnick
wouldnt chaos involve a somewhat proportionate amount of time that the models trend in our favor and not the current 100:1 ratio? no, that would inject fairness into the solution the odds must be decreased 10 to 100 fold

Ian
Historically bad winter for them, correct? yeah.. it has been a little better recently plus they are about to get clocked at least at the highest elevations but their snowstorm last week looked really depressing as there was really no snow on the ground prior. I've actually mostly kicked my obsession with models the last few winters. At least till the shorter range. I'll glance here and there but I waste enough time already.. good to get some of it back. SNO
Too many ingredients are needed for DCA to have a meaningful winter and rarely does everything come together. This should be no surprise to anyone and for long-range forecasters if they take the under for DCA every winter they will be right most of the time.
