I'm not sure why the GFS inconsistencies are "staggering" to him. It is a global-scale model attempting to predict a highly complex atmospheric pattern at ~7 days out. Dude's a total head case. But trended away. It's back now. You have to raise an eyebrow at least with the recent op and ens trends. It's getting slowly stronger. I can easily live with a cut and hp locked in to our north too.
