Thundersnow12
It's a much better run as the ejecting wave is a good deal stronger and more organized and precip in the cold sector takes off nicely when the moisture gets there. Really nice WCB and CCB looking at 925mb winds

Hoosier
Can't shake the feeling that this comes back NW to some extent from where it is now but the recent ticks SE at least leave a little breathing room if it happens. Feeling pretty good about a significant snowstorm (famous last words).

Giving the NAM some respect, it did catch the Boxing Day blizzard back out on the east coast in 2011. Every other model had dropped it going out to sea-- the NAM set the trend out 60 hours of bringing the mother up the coast.

It goes that far nw while keeping it at 1008...imagine if that was a sub 1000mb low? it would be going west of Alek lol. with our luck the nam will score the coupe, but the euro has been amazingly consistent for almost 5 days now. 12z euro ens. RJSnowLover
But the euro has been amazingly consistent for almost 5 days now. I remember an event in early December where the Euro pounded my area for many consecutive runs (don't know if it was 5 days), and then it jumped ship elsewhere. So I wouldn't put faith in that just yet.
