snowlover2
Most of Ohio would love the 12z Euro run. Shows at least 6" for all but extreme north and south central.

Agree considering 24 hrs ago Gfs had us in rain. My only concern right now is that Dayton sees freezing rain for an extended period of time instead of snow. However, if current trends continue we could be looking at all snow.
IWXwx
Hmm...NAM bullseye at 84 hours. Unsettling. IMO, trends looking real good for CMI to DTW Close enough for me. I'll revisit this thread Tuesday morning. yeah, right.

Chicago Storm
just not enough spacing between the throw away late flare up system and this guyThat's not the problem. Ridging out ahead of it is fine. The problem is trough evolution and northern/southern stream interaction.
michsnowfreak
So lets recap the last 3 days (talking locally). First we sweated a whiff south....then the "wagons north" rain stuff started, complete with some breakdowns from a few IN/OH posters...and now back to the whiff south stuff Barring some crazy NW shift, looks to be powder snow, which will do wonders to our deep, dense, probably iceburg snowpack by then.
