Snowstorms
18z runs appear to have partial sampling, while the 0z runs will have ~50% sampling. Hopefully we can get in on a bit more of a consensus between the globals over this way. A 50 mile SE shift would mean a big difference between getting 2-4" of slop and rain vs 6+ inches of snow. Alot of variability atm. I hope its in our favour.

huronicane
After Saturday, ORD should have surpassed the combined season totals of 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.

A-L-E-K
Srefs went down ever so slightly for ord for first time. Doesn't mean anything though 2nd time in a row actually, although there was some taint from today's snows in those earlier runs. 4-7" cluster is excellent. Ottawa Blizzard
Just got back from Buffalo/Niagara viewing the semi-frozen falls. Amazing scenery! Ran into snow and blowing snow in Tonawanda and buffalo yesterday as well - totally unforecasted. Haven't checked this in two days/ How's it looking for Toronto? Powerball
Well it was nice while it lasted. Silly me for getting sucked in by its shift southward on the 12z run. I'm sure DTW will somehow managed to get its 2-4" special out of this though. EDIT: Congrats Geos!!!

Chicago WX
00z NAM is coming in a bit stronger/warmer. Another terrible performance by the models. How far does the mix line make it into NE IL is the question...

Powerball
So the GGEM of all models may manage to pull a coupe. Amazing. Yet, I bet going forward if it shows monster solutions for us with the 3rd-5th storm, there's a 99.9% chance it won't verify and it will trend weaker/SE to whatever the crappy model consensus will be.
