KamuSnow
2nd batch started here around 1:40, another 1/2" from it so far, total up to 1.50". 22F. So if the 1st inch got up to the lower end of the expected 1 to 2", and anything above 2" would be considered bonus snow, what would you call the snow that gets you from 1" to 2"? (besides good :-))

JTA66
This second batch of snow is out performing the first. This morning's snow covered everything but the blacktop. But now even that is snow covered.

ChescoWx
It looks like the back end of this band is approaching from the west but with a pretty heavy band to finish it off . S+ again temp at 21.

Winter Wizard
We've had two different snow squalls today...the one happening now is definitely more prolonged and impressive than the first. I haven't been able to measure, but I'd estimate that we've received around 2 inches, give or take, so far.
Prairie Dog
As of 2:45 PM 1.5 inches Temp 23......light to mod snow

KamuSnow
I wonder how KPHL is doing? This could move them up a notch for monthly snowfall for January (from 5th to 4th) with a couple of inches.
Birdbean
Looks like the moderate to heavy snow band has ended here and is now swinging through the Chester Co. Area. Didnt go out to measure but just eyeballing it looks like 1" to 2" here.
svh19044
That radar looks juicy! And it's growing and traveling exactly where I like. I still haven't seen heavy snow this winter, so I doubt this "band" will do it. but it is certainly a nice moderate prolonged pace for now. Bluescat1
Looks like another northern stream over performer. Maybe we should have had the winter weather advisory instead of North and west?

I haven't gotten a measurement from home yet, though I'm not sure what Mercer's criteria is anymore... Close, but I'm personally not quite at 2" yet. In another 20 minutes I should be with the moderate snow. . ETA: currently 1.7", so maybe another 45 minutes.

MattMal88
Driving from city line ave to NE philly roads were a mess. 95 and 76 all snow covered and slippery! Probably cleared atleast an inch off my truck at 230 and we've probably gotten another inch or so since then with this nice snowband. Looks like the back edge will be here shortly though. iceman56
2.0" in NW Chesco, temp holding at 22.9, very light snow still falling. We'll see if that patchy stuff in central/western PA can survive the mountains to add more. Squalls on the front just now entering PA seem to have become fragmented.
