CCPSUSuperstorm2010
No Ray, the low was stalled for a while, and now it is beginning to move again eastward as forecasted. Will be interesting to see if any more snow can back build into the region. 00z NAM has another .25-.50" of QPF from WED night into Thursday, chances are it will turn to rain. CCPSUSuperstorm2010
No way thats going to rain... It would be pretty cool if the GFS actually came in with a better setup, a further west vorticity lobe. Same with the NAm, I heard the EURO was good. Clinch Leatherwood
what in the world are the school systems doing on cape cod? Why prolong it? 8-13" of snow and off and on snow all night....just cancel already. Do they forget parents have to plan?

Clinch Leatherwood
why are weathertap and the noaa page so different? Why does noaa show another band of snow developing in cape cod bay while weathertap shows zip?

CoastalWx
Well a little less than I thought. I came up with 2.7" here, but it's windblown so it could have been more..but that's my best measurement.
Clinch Leatherwood
I posted three radar shots, back a little, asked but no answer BR2 and BR3 seem fine on weathertap, but it has no clue about this band moving in which looks like more heavy snow if correct. Will know soon. I was wondering what you were asking about, sometimes when I look at GYX there's a geographical displacement anyway....that's not what this is. snowNH
I posted three radar shots, back a little, asked but no answer I'm not sure the difference but look at base instead of composite in the radar on NOAA. Base shows no band, composite shows the band.
