CCPSUSuperstorm2010
EST. Thanks Scott, going to go measure the snowfall soon. Just looking at those returns, the moisture continues to increase behind the main band with a strong NE flow really taking shape. Plymouth does really well in these type of events, but given that the storm is a little removed to the southeast, Cape Cod, MA is under the gun so to speak. I got a 3" snowfall an hour rate from 630-730pm and we weren't even in the heaviest part of the band, which moved to the north of me over the band. Top of the Alewife train-station I walked out into a literal whiteout. Okay exagerating a bit...the wind atop had to be 30 mph with zero vis. I wore sneakers to work. Last time I listen to you guys! LOL Est ~1" maybe 2" My figgin heated rain guage must have a wire loose from being knocked off it's seating last week. That band rotating in looks to mean business! CCPSUSuperstorm2010
830pm update: 31.5f, heavy snow continues, 13.5" with some drifts of 15", so a compromise or average went with 13.5" for the 830pm measurement, sure there are areas of lesser amounts, but on average I will go with 13.5", so roughly 2" in the last hour or so. Latest WSW message now shows 7-14" of snow expected.

Boston-winter08
this heavy band will probably stop at some point and then pivot as it slides off to the south and east...where that happens could see some more substantial snow
