Clinch Leatherwood
What's up with that feature from MVY-EWB? It's ripping under there. Mid level trough I think? Hints up through about 700mb of a weakness. It shows rotation....pretty sure that's what we are seeing.... robbing moisture/convergence on the NE side though
OSUmetstud
What's up with that feature from MVY-EWB? It's ripping under there. very strange...it would be awesome if it made it here though lol.
CoastalWx
Nice !!! Thank you Yeah even the euro gives you an inch or so. It almost bring this snow shield to you as well.
weathafella
Euro actually gives BOS 0.5+ through 78 hours and just east much more. Taken literally, Euro has the entire Cape up to about PYM in warning level snows when it's all said and done. Although spread out over days it wouldn't reach criteria but plowable snow nonetheless. I wonder if we can get one more bump west to get some snow in here tonight. Maybe with the ULL going underneath us we can squeeze some snow out even in NE CT. Yeah seems like a weak mid level feature or something. That's enhancing snow to the nw of it, so I'd watch it.

It looks like its trying to figure out where it wants to setup, if someone ends up near/under it they're going to get dumped. I'd think that it will realign more west to east and rotate through. Gaps appearing on radar to my east.

Clinch Leatherwood
SPC meso is picking up on it... 700mb frontogen I always forget to look at their products. Was hints of it on all the models and usually when we see that type of rotation that's what it is. Question now is, does it fade out as some model or kind of hang around? weathafella
I thought Euro would escape but it looks like it's going to deliver (weekend). Snowing decently...vis under a mild....I'm doing backflips in my office!
TalcottWx
Outer cape is going to get lashed.. CHH to report SN+ soon? Vis sat progression seems to support that band getting in there. Taking a closer peek at the MVY feature.. its source is right out of the circulation at the BM.. what a beautiful position its in! I think it will fade over time. We shoulda known this was coming, ample moisture with a great UL spot for sne coastal areas.

Not sure it makes it much further than where it is now although WV shows our version of the pineapple express starting.
