Damage In Tolland
would have to think there's some snow into BOS now. Do what you can to send it west tomorrow nite/Wed
CoastalWx
It's blowing off the railing but the area itself is sheltered. Some drifts to 1/2 foot out front. The heavy snow is likely just to my east a mile or two, if I could get that to pivot in would be fun. Nice!
Tropopause_Fold
this one little finger of 25dbz is impressive. Down to about 1/4 but some of that is blowing snow. Roads totally covered. I'm not sure what to expect the rest of today. probably varying intensities through the afternoon...we still have to reach the pivot which hasn't started yet so we have a ways to go. MaineJayhawk
25dbZ+ echoes lurking in the Gulf of Maine, just waiting to slide into PWM. Gotta overcome some dry air first. Nice to see GYX bump up accums for the overnight, hope to continue that trend.

CoastalWx
Must be some dry air, because radar looks worse than actuality. Just very light sn.
Brian5671
JB says congrats to those of us east of the River..sorry to Ryan and Wiz The monster off the East Coast is throwing its snow back far enough so much of New England east of the Connecticut River Valley will wind up with snow on the ground and little chance to get rid of it by Christmas Day, though the truly heavy amounts (over 6 inches) will stay southeast of Boston and Providence. exciting for you, a dusting! Clinch Leatherwood
Weird meso band forming south of New Bedford, if that kept going and managed to hit some of us would be good snows. Intensity back to about 1/2 to 3/

Clinch Leatherwood
Can see what is going on here, banding is forming under the higher level moisture as the entire thing realigns. http://www.rap.ucar.edu/weather/satellite/displaySat.php?region=EVV&itype=wv&size=large&endDate=20101218&endTime=-1&duration=

TalcottWx
Something is enhancing the snow here... Im down to less then two miles! My JFK museum marker is about .75 across the water and I can't see much more then a mile past that.

That's odd. So that is actually more robust than even the NAM. RUC has this starting to dry out by 6pm. Radar drying too. Hope the Euro is right.
