Mod snow across the entire cape. If this were elsewhere this forum would be hopping. Let us enjoy it, doesn't come often.

Mod here too.

GFS with the new setup of this existing s/w says XMAS snow shall be had by some.

Great to see you guys getting some snow down there, Nice to see a NW trend, We look to see ours later..... :snowman:

Hurricane force wind warning out over the atlantic - could throw some big waves towards the coast later on?

Awesome to hear about the good snows out on the cape, hopefully this thing can keep nudging a bit and give some sn- here in boston. Just saw a few weenie flakes on my way home in the south end.

Way better than I thought, about to go measure but I've been porky pigging it all morning (took today off). It's moderate snow here, genuine snowstorm with some blowing snow. Radar is impressive. I expect at some point it will just go poof, but it's holding strong now.

Nice...I'm about waist deep in overcast.

yeah really starting to howl now. it should look pretty impressive for a few hours this afternoon as these heavier echoes back in and winds keep coming up. combo of some drier air draining down and just cooling from heavier precip has really helped change the consistency of the snow now.

look at NW atl visible

http://www.ssd.noaa..../flash-vis.html

see that thing curl up around 39/ 67W ......i would like to see this WHALE get pulled back a bit further or some inverted trough set up .....i mean the closed 5h low is going underneath us right ....with upper winds backing off the water.....is there nothing funny that could happen. man what a vis loop

can't this beast get captured and pinwheel to about 40/68....is that even plasuable lol

i would like the one main low to stay dominant so that may have a shot......
