GFS is way wsw with the xmas system...major changes as the long range models FINALLY figured out the NAM was right on the dakotas energy. Don't know where it ends up from 84 hours. I can see the canal entrance from my living room so I'm guessing this means me: ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES THROUGH THIS EVENING...HIGHEST AMOUNTS NEAR THE CAPE COD CANAL WHERE ISOLATED 5 INCH AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. cpickett79 Posted December 20, 2010 Share Posted December 20, 2010 gfs looks awful with this current system shows that now would be precip's closest pass and then moving away for the next two days with weenie flakes all that is left.....aside from a oes shower here or there. thankfully now cast shows precip backin up still. I don't know when it flipped, I fell asleep maybe 30 minutes after my last post and it was 34 and raining still. I figure about 3am it must have changed over. RUC has this thumb of moisture for another few hours at most before it erodes. LOL, also was just down the harbor tides are starting to get up there. No real wave action yet but, the parking lot down by the Mill Wharf Restaurant had water creeping in. Saw where BOX mentioned the possibility of some splash over along about tmrw, if we can get seas to build?
