Clinch Leatherwood
You should have gotten something. Even I did and I am on the periphery of the QPF. Looke like it started snowing at PYM around 6pm last night and has continued ever since. Yeah it's a festivas miracle. About an inch will measure in a few. At the rate we are going by 2015 this will be enough to gridlock the area for days like when it snows in Florida
CoastalWx
My follks about 1.5" or so. Sounds like it was wet and compacted a little but snowing decently there now.

powderfreak
Looks like it will snow around here this morning. Doesn't matter how much, its always nice to have flakes in the air and the ground white... even if its just an inch or so. Congrats! See if this wasn't forecast by any models, everyone would be having a blast with 1-3" in SE and far E MA.... however, there seems to be a subdued attitude because of last week's HECS model runs. As Blizz and his lover JB say, "enjoy the weather/snow because its the only weather/snow you've got."

dryslot
Looks like we are not that far from seeing some snow here as Radar shows the precip moveing NNW but will be while it seems as the echoes are not making it in here yet we need to saturate the column.... Clinch Leatherwood
1.3" here. Snowing lightly with a vis of about 1 mile. 30 degrees, wet, snowman snow. beggars cannot be choosy. does the EC have the trough treat?
Tropopause_Fold
definitely a nice NW component to those echoes southeast of ACK.

Compare the 54h 0z GFS at 500mb to the 48h 6z GFS at 500mb. Same trend for a full day towards the much slower NAM. My hunch is we see a less widespread situation but a compromise between the two, eastern/northern areas get back into accumulating snow. RUC supports NAM/RGEM idea, already has snow building back down the ME coast in 18 hours.

Yeah I could see eastern and northern areas getting into the snow shield, but I'm not getting the foot of snow that the NAM gave me..lol. My guess is maybe a coating to an inch or so for now in my area.

CoastalWx
It's nice to see the VAD profile showing more easterly flow aloft. You can see the winds between 10 and 13k becoming more out of the east.

Some of the high res models like the HRRR and SPC 4km wrf keep the snow going all day right along the coastline of pym county and the Cape. CoastalWx
that region SE of ack looks promising I wish that band would move nw. I think it's acting to create a little subsidence on the nw side because the echoes at times look a little disorganized. It does look like it's making a push nw, so that bolds well for you and even up through PYM perhaps.

Clinch Leatherwood
NAM inexhorably shifting away from its earlier snowy solutions. Eastern areas may do pretty well if the snow is light and fluffy, but the regionwide stuff is gonzo.
