Commute home took 2hrs 15 minutes ... normal day it's 50 minutes. Accidents aplenty, heavy heavy snow, wind blowing the heavy heavies sideways. Awesome. I see vis at PWM was down to 1/4 mile. I'm surprised it was that good.

Got 1" on the ground at home, looked to be more like 2 or 3" in PWM when I was passing through.

Yep, 3 inches here northwest of Portland. Very impressive band of snow as it went through.

Almost identical situation here. Took me two hours and it normally takes me 40 minutes. Major pile-up in downtown Portland caused most of the problems for me. It started snowing here about an hour later than PWM. I believe we have less than they do as well.

Dosn't seem like Scott or Phil or any of the mets think so..Not until Sunday I guess. Oh well..glad you guys can enjoy the good side of a bust. I like watching this unfold as painful as it is when it's so close yet so far

I wouldn't rule out some -sn for Wednesday in Tolland.

Lucky. Now you can't complain if you mix/rain on this coming noreaster. :arrowhead:

I'm not contradicting you...I know how it can be tough in the downtown area to accumulate.

I understand. I'm trying to figure out the nuances of Boston. That report of close to 3" in South Boston (just a couple miles from me) kind of blew me away.

I envy thee. Maybe I can hope for Sunday...Don't think I'm seein any inverted action this far west.

Wow....good for you!

Only .5" here around 7pm, but I'm satisfied with this; nice festive atmosphere and expectations were non-existent....nice little suprise.

When was the last time the Cape recieved a foot of snow from one event?

I believe it was the 12/19 event last year. We got 15" out here in Harwich, MA from that storm, officially the report was 11" I think. Anyways areas of CHH and points North got around 10-12" from the NYE retro weekend storm.

yeah, I am in burlington, just south of 128 and looks like 1.5" still coming down.

I can vouch for your area having more; I was at my dad's in Woburn center and there was def. a bit more in Woburn and Burlington.....looked over an inch.
